Size Chart: How to Measure Your Feet and Waist

👟 Measure your foot length in 3 steps, in just one minute

1. Place a sheet of A4 paper against a wall and stand on it with your heel touching the wall.
2. Mark a line at the tip of your longest toe (for some people it's the big toe, for others the second toe).
3. Measure from the wall edge of the paper to the line. That number in cm is your foot length. It's best to measure in the evening, since feet swell slightly compared with the morning. If your feet differ in length, use the longer one, and measure while wearing the socks you usually wear.

📐 How to choose your size

Choose a size whose cm figure is 0.5 to 1.0 cm longer than your foot.

That extra space lets your toes move as you walk, so you stay comfortable on long walks.

Example: for a 26.0 cm foot, size 41 (26.0 cm) fits true, while 42 (26.5 cm) is slightly roomier.

Terra Line is sized by insole length and we recommend choosing an insole about 2 cm longer than your actual foot for maximum comfort.

Terra Line size numbers follow a different standard from our other models. Comparing by the foot length in the far-right column is the most accurate.

🤔 Between two sizes?

Go with the larger size. It's always the safer choice, because leather stretches with wear.

If it still feels a little loose, our Lambskin Nubuck Insole can help in 2 ways.

Recommended: remove the original insole and replace it
The insoles in our shoes are removable. Pull straight up from the heel with your fingers, then lay the new insole in. The shoe depth stays exactly the same, and your foot rests directly on lambskin.

Alternative: place it on top of the original insole
For shoes where the original insole is hard to remove, just lay the new one on top. Your foot will sit higher, making the heel collar shallower, so we recommend the first method.

📏 Belt sizes

Check the label on the pants you usually wear, or measure around your waist where you actually wear your belt. Keep the tape snug against your body and parallel to the floor. Saxon Leather Belt (woven, fixed length)
Waist 29 to 33 in: choose Standard, 110 cm long
Waist 34 to 36 in: choose Large, 115 cm long
Waist over 36 in: we recommend Rove, Gentry, or Baron

You can trim the strap on these three models yourself. If you're unsure between two lengths, choose the longer one to be safe.
